With over 15 years experience in the high technology industry, Eileen Hart is a strategic thinker with strong project management and execution skills. She has held a variety of sales, marketing, and product marketing roles at companies such as Apple Computer, Whistle Communications (now a subsidiary of IBM), and Quantum Corporation.
Eileen is presently Principal of Great Minds Marketing, a consulting practise focused on driving marketing strategies and initiatives through sales and partner channels. Her project work allows her to leverage her extensive sales, marketing and communications experience while providing a broad range of strategic and tactical expertise to her many clients. Great Minds Marketing's clients have expressed particular satisfaction with Eileen's ability to operate effectively and credibly at the intersection of sales and marketing.
Eileen just completed an engagement, in collaboration with Lumineer Communications, for a network management start-up in which she performed a thorough analysis of the market opportunity for the company's solutions and the tactics required to pursue this opportunity. The primary challenge was to identify a cost effective way for the client to address the highly fragmented, but fast growing small-to-medium size business (SMB) market. The scope of work included market research and analysis, channel partner analysis and the development of a strategic marketing plan.
Prior to this, Eileen completed two separate engagements with Apple Computer. The most recent one was the development of an integrated marketing campaign for a higher education marketing segment. Project deliverables included market research, competitive analysis, website development, and the creation of a multifaceted demand generation program.
Engaged by the Corporate Marketing leadership at Informatica, an enterprise software company, Eileen led the design and development of an internal website for the sales force. Known as Central Field Materials, the site was designed to be the single source for all information used by the field to sell Informatica products and services. Eileen developed the site's specifications, drove the software and content development, and fielded user inquiries and feedback.
Other client engagements include the design and execution of a series of partner marketing programs for an e-business process standards consortium, and the development and implementation of a technology brand campaign for a storage systems leader.
Eileen holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA with honors from Colgate University.
